A large U.K. study of postmenopausal women suggests that blood test for the protein CA-125 may have benefits for those at higher risk of ovarian cancer. Women who had the test yearly for 7 to 11 years were 20% less likely to die of ovarian cancer within 14 years than those who did not get screened. If your at high risk, talk with your doctor.
